Disability Benefits Change
If an employee is laid off due to COVID-19 reasons and you are extending their health and dental coverage through the lay-off, that employee can now choose to keep their disability benefits active.
Should an employee become disabled while laid-off – your insurer will cover them for all eligible and approved disability claims.
